What s different about kf s load sequence compared to other games.

Hi there am i the only one suffering from exceptional long startup times for kf2 on a fairly decent system. Map loading times are reasonable enough and i don t notice much of a slowdown problem when running the game so i m pretty sure i meet the play requirements. You could be up against a very real physical limitation that is totally out of the control of the developers. I recall it would have something to do with the ram memory but the game could easily take up 3 4 minutes to start and also loading a map feels like it takes too long.

I have a gtx980 32 gb of ram a ssd 1td hard drive. It takes 3 5 minutes for the game to actually launch. So i m not running on a potato and i know i don t have the most elite system and it seems to be this game only that takes a chunk of time to start up. About this game in killing floor 2 players descend into continental europe where the outbreak caused by horzine biotech s failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum essentially paralyzing the european union just one month after the events in the original killing floor the specimen clones are everywhere and civilization is in disarray.
